I had the chance to go watch Lost Butterfly in theaters and I thought I would give you my opinion (not that you asked for it!)
First of all, I was so excited to see some decorations in the theater and a huge poster!
It was also awesome to receive a poster and also a free Saber Alter illustration~
As for the movie itself – much like Presage Flower I thought that It wasn’t very exciting due to the fact that I already know the story. I found myself kind of nodding off because there wasn’t much going on. It’s a shame because the animation in the battle scenes was amazing, but there weren’t many of them. Although Berserker vs Saber Alter was awesome!
The more “adult” scenes were also fun to watch. I am glad they incorporated it in the movie and showed that side of Sakura. Although not explicit, I thought the scenes were well executed. Perhaps most racy of all is Sakura liking Shiro’s finger >____>
Overall I had a good time but thought the movie was just ok. Still, I look forward to part 3 and will for sure be watching!
