This weekend Comic World is back in Seoul for its 158th edition. This is an event that hosts many artists so they can sell merchandise, most of it anime inspired. All the artists are incredibly talented, and there is probably something for everyone!
The event takes place multiple times a year both in Seoul and Busan. If you don’t have time to make it this time, the next one in Seoul is in October. Details will be below.
The venue aT center was perfect for this event. I got her pretty much an time of opening and although there was a lot of people, it wasn’t hard to get around.
The event features mostly original artists, but there were a couple official booth such as Wacom, Love and Producer, and Forever 7 Days. The video game booths were offering free merch as long as you logged in and showed them your profile. The lines however were incredibly long so I didn’t try.
Although the artists for the most part had art of anime that is popular right now, there really is something incredibly exciting about seeing so much beautiful art all in one space!
If you would like to see my haul, please look at the video above. I definitely did some damage to my wallet but it was my first time attending an event like this so it was definitely worth it.
